JapanUp! Magazine Cover

There is one thing I always make sure I do upon coming into the city of Los Angeles, and that is to visit Little Tokyo to stock up on cooking ingredients and pick up an issue of JapanUp! Magazine.

When I was given the opportunity to be a cover model for them, I immediately accepted, and photographer Masa Endo, makeup and hair stylist Yuri and Mari from PIA Salon, and kimono maker Takako Sasaki created the image below with me under the direction of the JapanUp! team.

Hopefully, this happy go lucky cover is just a sign of many more joyful photos to come!
